Report and Word
California Prayer and Prophetic Summit 2021
May 5-8, 2021
But now, thus says the Lord who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel:
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name;
You are mine!"
Isaiah 43:1

The California Prayer and Prophetic Summit convened May 5-8, 2021 at a conference center on the shores of Lake Tahoe. Situated on a high place in California, the Lord set us in one of the most beautiful places in His creation. For those who made it, we are forever grateful for the time and sacrifice in coming. For those who could not make it, we missed you and thank you for your prayers. You all were part of what happened. We all came one way and left another. The following is a report that we hope captures the highlights and message the Lord released.
Keys of the Kingdom:
As we set our hearts in prayer and worship, the atmosphere in the room became filled with the power of agreement and the sense of His Presence came into a deep abiding grace. Relationships flowed in a culture of acceptance and honor. One of the scriptures that came forward the first night was Revelation 3:7-13, John's letter to the faithful church in Philadelphia. It became a cornerstone of revelation for the entire gathering:

Scripture focus:
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,
These things says He who is holy, He who is true, He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens: “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Rev 3:7-13

As we declared the promises and purposes of the faithful church of Philadelphia, the commission was to shut doors to past hindrances, and open doors to new things God is doing to strengthen us for the times ahead.
Keys for the Future: Below are three distinct themes that emerged through the prayer and worship. They carry revelatory themes to remove hindrances and unlock doors for the future.

- God is highlighting the need to sharpen and understand our identity in Christ. The days of the "Nameless and faceless" characterization of the body of Christ are over. The acronym served its purpose to help us look beyond platforms into Kingdom dynamics that are powerful and important to tend to. However, now, the Lord is calling us into new revelation and importance of trusting Him, knowing our identity, spiritual gifts and callings and how to serve others with them. He has made us each uniquely different to cultivate His character and bear His divine purpose. The gifts and callings of God are irrevocable, Romans 11:29. It is vital for us to understand Rev 3:11, Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. The Psalmist reiterates the importance of carrying what God has called us to do, You have renounced the covenant of Your servant; You have profaned his crown by casting it to the ground, Ps 89:39. This is not a call to arrogance, but rather to obedience in serving others and mobilizing the body of Christ into prayer and action. There is nothing more powerful than calling out one's purpose publicly. It was this ministry of recognition that Peter displayed in Matthew 16 when he was the first human on earth to declare Jesus as the Messiah. What was the power of that declaration? Jesus said, "On this rock I will build My church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it," Matthew 16:18
- The Church will be a House of Prayer. Jesus is awakening His Church to the importance of corporate prayer and worship. The final frontiers of the global harvest loom. These frontline battles are gripped in the strongholds of the enemy and require spiritual intervention in worship and prayer before the harvest is loosed. Much of the Church lies hidden in the pews, but a new awakening is rising as hunger for His Presence and desire to worship and to pray fuel the hearts of His people. 2 Chron 20:22 declares the call, Now when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated. The hour of the relentless watchmen of Isaiah 62:6-7 is now. The ramparts of prayer and worship are being built from homes, to churches, to large and small gatherings from every tribe and tongue. It is preparing and ushering in a bridal chorus to make way for the King.
- The fear of man will give way to the fear of the Lord. A Daniel anointing is being loosed to be bold in the face of opposition and oppression. The angel of the Lord appeared to Daniel in the midst of distress saying, "O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you, be strong, yes, be strong!" So when he spoke to me I was strengthened and said, "Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me," Daniel 10:19. We will be called to stand in difficult places, but know that God is with us. He will be our guide and give us the wisdom to navigate the strongholds that threaten and prevent God's movement forward. It simply requires a heart fully committed to Him and love being the anchor of our souls. Psalm 84:5 promises, "Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage, as they pass through the Valley of Baca (valley of tears), they make it a spring; the rain also covers it with potions, they go from strength to strength."

SIGNS FOLLOWED! Sessions continued through Thursday evening until 9:30. At 9:35 cell phones began to buzz with warning of an earthquake. A 4.7 earthquake had struck! The earthquake's epicenter was literally a stone's throw away from us. Aftershocks were recorded in the lake itself, yet we felt nothing. The verse, "Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain," Hebrews 12:27. God is raising up an unshakable army that knows who they are, what they are called to, and how to carry His Presence.
Take home messages:
Given the three themes that emerged, our take home message boiled down into divine simplicity propelling us forward. We were commissioned to leave focused on the following:
Friday culminated in a time of praying over the land and building an altar and exploring the beauty of the area. We gathered Saturday morning, refreshed and re-charged through the previous day's encounters and were commissioned through communion. Both Psalm 47 and Ezekiel 47 became highlights reflecting the 4.7 earthquake.
Word: "You are My people, created with a call and destiny for a purpose. Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed or discouraged. He who fashioned you is with you wherever you go. Be strong! For you will not be shaken. You have seen and heard well. Know that your efforts are not in vain and My word will not return to Me void." May 14, 2021

Given the three themes that emerged, our take home message boiled down into divine simplicity propelling us forward. We were commissioned to leave focused on the following:
- Build with purpose. As we navigate and begin to understand the call of the watchman, a distinctive characteristic of the watchmen is emerging. Watchmen seek to build. Intercessors hear from the Lord and move on their directives, which is important and good. Watchmen will hear from the Lord, but also seek ways to build with what is already growing, or will look to link arms in collaborative ways. Relationships help lock shields in new and trustworthy ways. The book of Nehemiah is such an example. All the families built their portion of the wall. They did not lose their identity, but built with each other. Consequently, an incredible work was done in 52 days.
- Prepare ourselves, family, and friends for the coming season. As times become more challenging, God is calling us to be prepared in and firmly grounded in His word. Some keys for the coming season require us to be prepared for the harvest are as follows:
- Be equipped in the Word including the end-time narrative is vital. Ministries are emerging with fresh revelation of the end-times that are biblically solid. It is as if the books that were shut in Daniel 12:4 are now being opened and we are seeing more clearly than before. Whatever eschatology we hold, it is vital that our study causes our love for Jesus and for others to grow and develop. On these basics are all the law and the prophets, Mt. 22:40.
- Be prepared to love and forgive to a deeper capacity. Because the harvest is plentiful and the tares are mature, the end-time harvest will come from many different places with wounded spirits from drug, alcoholism, abuse, rejection, etc. It will require greater capacity to love and express compassion to minister to these needs.
- Be prepared to be uncomfortable. God is changing the wineskin and it will require us to get out of our comfort zones and typical thought patterns as to what church and Christian life is all about.
- Be ready to share the hope that is in you and to speak life giving words to others. The coming season will require us to know the love of God and His redeeming power for every situation and relationship. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God, 2 Cor 1:3.
- Be willing to walk out the gospel of peace particularly with brothers and sisters in Christ. The judgments and offenses in the body of Christ must be dealt with for the fullness of the Gentile church (Romans 11:25) to come into being. Be willing to step out to those you may have offended or inadvertently hurt and seek forgiveness and reconciliation. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the sons of God, Mt. 5:9.
